Meet Emma

Flips Class of 2019

I started in Folks-n-Flips classes with my dad.  I then progressed to Preschool, Flipshots, Hopes/Tops, and on through Level 10 Team. 

I’ve had some amazing coaches throughout my gymnastics career: Garilyn, Shelly, Jean, Bart, Lori, Theresa, Pete, Chris, Bob and Brent.


My favorite event is beam. 
I have so many amazing memories: lip syncs at team camp, hotel fun in Iowa, kickball & dodgeball for warm up, baseball on bars, Westerns, bowling in Arizona, and Bart’s stories.


I have learned so much from being a gymnast at Flips. I’ve learned how to work hard, set goals, manage time, be a leader, have respect, be determined, persevere, and reach for the stars.

I am a 2019 graduate of Hill Murray, and attending Gustavus Adolphus College, gymnastics team member,  with a Major in Communications / Journalism.
 I hope to work in editing / writing for a magazine or TV broadcasting.

There are so many things that I am going to miss about Flips: my amazing teammates (my best friends and second family)! I am going to miss having the absolute best coaches and I will miss walking into Flips everyday with all of my bags straight from school. I will miss the constant laughs, the inside jokes, my conditioning partner, my favorite beam, team parties, dance warm up, and so much more.

Flips has shaped me into the person I am today and I am forever grateful for everything that the Flips family has done for me!
